Sangria

Sangria

A fruity, summertime favorite from sunny Spain.  Takes just a moment to prepare.  Below is the recipe we came up with while in Spain, although we noticed that many restaurants add whatever fruit they have available, usually apples and pears in addition to the citrus fruits. Depending on the wine you use, you may have to add some sugar or preferably fruit juice to sweeten it up to your taste.

Mix all ingredients into a pitcher, add ice to chill, and serve.
