French Toast for 2

This is the traditional American version of French toast, served with maple syrup for breakfast. This recipe is for 2 servings, but may be increased to any number.

Whisk the first 3 ingredients together in a shallow bowl.
Dip the bread slices into the egg mixture until thoroughly saturated.
Fry on a hot skillet until lightly browned.
Turn and cook the other side until browned and set.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Serve immediately with maple syrup.
