Texas Dip

A colorful appetizer, easily put together at the last minute.  On a large round plate, it will look like a pizza.

3 med avocados, ripe         1 Tbs lemon juice     15 ml ½ tsp salt     2.5 ml ¼ tsp pepper     1.2 ml 8 oz sour cream (creme fraich) 8 fl ounces 250 ml ½ cup mayonnaise     125 ml 1 pkg taco seasoning mix         1 cup chopped green onions     250 ml 2 med tomatoes, chopped         1 can sliced black olives 3 ounces 100 grams 1 can refried beans     300 ml 1½ cups shredded cheddar or jack cheese 8 ounces 225 grams

Mash avocados in a bowl, adding lemon juice, salt and pepper.
In separate bowl mix mayonnaise, sour cream and taco mix.
Spread on serving plate, layering as follows:

 Refried beans

 Avocado mixture

 Sour cream mixture

 Green onions

 Tomatoes

 Olives

 Cheese

Serve with tortilla chips.
